Two players were ejected from the Bears-Titans preseason game on Sunday afternoon at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

The ejections came at 10:51 in the 2nd quarter (video) and involved an altercation after the whistle between Titans left guard Quinton Spain and Bears defensive tackle Jaye Howard. Video appears to show Spain throwing the first punch with Howard retaliating. Both players were pulled apart from one another as referee Ed Hochuli announced offsetting unnecessary roughness penalties and ejections for both players. Ejection occurs when the fouls are deemed flagrant by the officials.

(Bonus: This is the first time we see former NFL officiating head Dean Blandino as a Fox Sports analyst during a game.)

Spain was reportedly the center of a training camp brawl earlier this month as well.
