The officiating assignments for Week 6 of the 2022 USFL season.

The second half USFL season begins with the Week 6 matchups this weekend.
In recent weeks, there were some preplanned shuffles at the referee position for reasons undisclosed. Now, there are no substitutions this week, and everyone is working with their usual crew. Referee James Carter is working four games in back-to-back weekends as a result. Larry Smith (pictured above) will head the crew in the other two games this weekend.
Game assignments
All games are played at Protective Stadium in Birmingham, Ala., and times listed are Eastern.
Saturday, May 21
- Philadelphia Stars vs. Tampa Bay Bandits, 1 p.m. NBC — Larry Smith
- Birmingham Stallions vs. Michigan Panthers, 7:30 p.m. NBC — James Carter
Sunday, May 22
- New Orleans Breakers vs. Pittsburgh Maulers, 12 noon FS1 — Larry Smith
- New Jersey Generals vs. Houston Gamblers, 4 p.m. Fox — James Carter
