Adrian Hill is assigned to the Hall of Fame Game
Adrian Hill will be the referee for the first game of the 2023 NFL season, in Canton, Ohio.
The NFL’s 104th season begins Thursday night at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, the birthplace of professional football. Football Zebras has confirmed that Adrian Hill, who is commencing his 14th season and 5th as referee, will lead a mixed crew in the first preseason game of 2023 between the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns.
This is Hill’s first Pro Football Hall of Fame Game assignment at any position. His mixed crew has 133 years of combined on-field officiating experience. The Thursday night game will be aired on NBC beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern.
